Behind the Scenes — My Interior Design Process

Most people only see the “after” of interior design — the beautiful photos, the styled shelves, the perfectly layered textures. But the real magic happens long before installation day. A thoughtful, organized process is what keeps your project on track and ensures your home turns out exactly the way you imagined (or better).
Here’s a behind‑the‑scenes look at how I guide clients through a seamless, enjoyable design experience.
1. The Discovery Phase
This is where I get to know you.
Your lifestyle, your goals, your frustrations, your style, and how you want your home to feel. This step sets the foundation for everything that follows.
2. The Design Plan
I create a cohesive vision for your home — layouts, color palettes, materials, furnishings, lighting, and more. You’ll see how everything works together before anything is purchased.
3. Sourcing & Selections
I handle the research, ordering, vendor communication, and all the tiny details that make a project run smoothly. You get curated options, not overwhelm.
4. Project Management
From coordinating with contractors to tracking shipments, I manage the moving parts so you don’t have to. This is where a lot of stress disappears for clients.
5. Installation & Styling
This is the fun part — the transformation.
Furniture arrives, art is hung, textiles are layered, and your home comes to life. It’s the moment everything clicks.
Final Thoughts
A beautiful home doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through a thoughtful, organized process that blends creativity with strategy. My goal is always to make the experience as enjoyable and stress‑free as the final result.
If you’re in Boise, Eagle,

Meridian, or McCall and want a design process that feels calm, clear, and exciting, I’d love to help.
